Australian Scrapbook Ideas

Apparently there is a new Australian scrapbooking magazine on the market which is the sister magazine to The Scrapbook Magazine in the U.K. I have been told today that I've got a layout in their very first edition which is on the news stands already It is one of the ones which the UK magazine published last year. What a lovely surprise

I'm going to have to go looking for a copy myself Christine - only know about it because a friend kylieliston who used to be on my DT here has been asked to be a DT for the UK mag and they emailed her and told her she will have a 3 page intro in the next edition. She went and found it on the news stands and let me know - thanks Kylie

yes i bought a copy last week when i wanted something to read while i killed some time shopping ... your layout is on page 84 of the reader gallery Jo... called lucky me... nice layout too...
kylie liston has a layout on the next page...
i haven't read all of the mag but it is interesting with lots of ideas and how to do the layouts... i am sure it will develop and i will probably keep an eye out for it as it is australian too.. so i like to support aussie mags..
also there is some free papers and stuff which are always a bonus!!
so i will probably buy the next one and see what they offer..

Will keep an eye out for the mag and see how much like the UK version it is.

Bought it yesterday and both yours and Kylie's layouts look great in it.
I was a little disappointed in the content though as most of the stories are from previous issues of Scrapbook magazine from the UK so there wasn't a lot new to read. Maybe next time.

I thought the same Melissa but I'm gathering perhaps they put it together initially purely out of Aussie content from the UK mag - I certainly never knew my layout was being published in there so perhaps they just went ahead with what they already had figuring their current Aussie readership for the UK mag wasn't too large.

Kylie has made DT for the mag and is already writing her article and preparing her layouts so I'm sure they have loads of new stuff coming

Ah, Jo, congratulations! I've just picked up the magazine myself and, not having seen the English ones, found it refreshingly different from SM and SC.
